Our Story
Our Journey
From a small building in Banepa to one of Nepal's trusted pharmaceutical manufacturers — three decades of dedication, innovation, and growth.
1990
The Inspiration
Mr. Pawan Kumar Agrawal, during his early years, saw the ills that inspired change in the Nepalese medical industry. After visiting a laboratory in Mumbai, he saw the basic medicines Nepal's market needed and realized Curex could do much better with the right technology.
1992
Company Founded
The idea took shape as a small concrete building in Banepa, on the outskirts of Kathmandu. Initially catering only to the local market, Curex started with a labour force of twenty.
1995
Expansion of Product Portfolio
Curex expanded its range of medicines, broadening its reach across Nepal.
2008
Leadership Transition and Major Expansion
Mr. Pawan Kumar Agrawal handed the reins to his younger brother, Mr. Sushil Kumar Agrawal. Under his direction, Curex leapt forward in expansion, innovation, marketing, and production. His primary interest in R&D led to the creation of Enclave — a formulation using Clavulanic Acid that revolutionized the Nepalese medicinal market.
