A Few Words from the Managing Director
"It is indeed very heartwarming to see Curex striding towards the vision that we had perceived years ago. With each passing year, I feel we have progressed towards achieving our goals, not only company wise, but as a catalyst to national development. Thus, I would like to thank everyone who has helped reach Curex to the position it is in today.
There have been numerous stake holders whom to list might be an impossibility. I nevertheless would like to start by thanking the Nepal Government Ministry for their immense support. It would be a crime if I did not thank the Department of Drugs Administration for their continuous and encouraging contributions towards research, development, and administration of drugs. My gratitude also extends towards the doctors in Nepal for their infinite trust in our medicines.
I would like to thank and salute our entire team for their incessant dedication towards the development of Curex. At Curex, we believe our team to be a family, which they do so beautifully, harmony amongst the departments being the proof. I would like to commend the heads of all departments, marketing, production (stockists and market representatives), administration, quality assurance (quality control and microbiology), and research and development in their efforts to lead their teams effectively and efficiently.

The Beginning
Our Founder
Mr. Pawan Kumar Agrawal
Founder & Former Managing Director (1992–2008)
In 1990, Mr. Pawan Kumar Agrawal accompanied by his friends had gone to Mumbai for a routine checkup. Upon the advice of a staff at the laboratory in Mumbai, and seeing the necessity, he opened a pathology lab in Nepal. The idea of Curex diverting to medicines production was later brought up over dinner with his family. Over two years, in 1992, the idea from abstract took shape of a small concrete building in Banepa. During his early years of directing, he saw the ills that Nepal was suffering, which led him to inspire change in the Nepalese medical industry. He sold the basic medicines Nepal's market needed and soon realized Curex could do much better if given the right technology. In 2008, he officially retired, handing the reins to his younger brother, Mr. Sushil Kumar Agrawal.

His primary interest in R&D led to the creation of Enclave, a formulation using Clavulanic Acid that revolutionized the Nepalese medicinal market. He directs Curex with a focus on research and development as the foundational stone to meet its vision.

Mr. Chandradeep Mahato
Plant Manager
Overseeing all aspects of production — from raw material processing through granulation, coating, primary and secondary packing, to quality assurance. Responsible for reviewing all batches, processing records, and batch packaging records.
Mr. Bijay Karki
Marketing Manager
Leading marketing efforts across 14 territories nationwide, managing 105+ stockists and 95 medical representatives. Oversees government tender bidding and partnerships with the Nepalese Army, Ministry of Health, Indian Embassy, and NGOs like Care Nepal and Jhipego.
